Rules for Preparing Proceeding

Rules for Preparing Proceeding Abstracts:

Abstracts should be both in Turkish and English and written in Times New Roman character with 10 font size. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and include the topic, scope, method, aim and its distinctive contribution to the field. 

3 to 5 keywords should be presented at the end of abstracts. 

Proceeding abstracts should include subjects which are stated under the heading “subjects to be covered”.

Subject to be covered in the proceeding should be outlined in the abstract.

Proceeding sent after deadline for application will not be evaluated.

 

Rules for Preparing Full Text of Proceedings:

Proceedings submitted to the symposium should be on a standard A4 page layout in Microsoft Word program. Proceedings should be prepared in “Times New Roman” font style with 12 font size and 2.5 cm margins at top and bottom and 3 cm margin at left and right.

No row space should be set between paragraphs, the text should be written in single space with 6nk above and 6 nk below.  Indent value should be set to 1.25.

Footnotes should be written in Chicago. References in footnotes should include author’s name and surname, name of the work (in italic; in quotation marks for articles), publishing house, publication year and page number of the work, respectively. References should be put at the end of the texts and listed in alphabetical order according to surname.

Full text proceedings should not exceed 10 pages (including figures, tables etc.).

The author should state the institution she/he is working at the bottom of the first page (as footnote) and may present his/her internet address in Times New Roman with 10 font size. 

The proceedings should be based on Spelling Dictionary of Turkish Language Society.

Symposium languages are Turkish and English.

 

Presentation of Proceedings:

Proceedings should be in accordance with the topics and aims symposium.

15 minutes will be spared for each presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.

Audo-visual and other technical equipment needed for presentations should be demanded in advance.
